John Millman

My name is John Millman and I am a professional tennis player. I started playing tennis at a young age, following my sisters to the courts for their lessons. Upon graduating at Anglican Church Grammar School in 2006, I decided to take my tennis seriously and have a go at my dream of becoming a professional tennis player. Halted by a shoulder operation in 07', I have steadily risen in the ranks, achieving a career high 179 at the conclusion of the 2010 season. Unfortunately 2011 was a bad year, injuring my shoulder in April and being forced to take a protected ranking. 2012 was a new year and I improved my ranking which had dropped to 539 to198 by the end of the year. I kickstarted 2013 with a great campaign at the Brisbane International and hope to achieve my goal of being inside the top 100 by the end of the year. I have to thank all my support that includes family, friends and supporters.
